Earlier roles
Before and alongside studio work, I held roles at Postmates, Lyft, and Apple.
Direct, practical AI help from someone who understands creative and digital work.
I’m Justin Mabee, the founder and Creative Director of Arc & Atlas. My work spans brand, custom websites, content, and digital projects from idea through launch.
That background helps me connect AI to the way people plan, make, review, and deliver real work. The point is not to sound technical. The point is to help you do something useful.
I use AI to read source material, check copy against what a client actually said, move structured content, test sites, and turn repeat work into systems that can be used again. It helped me keep old links working during a site move, work through rounds of client notes, and build tools for voice, proposals, launches, and reporting.
I still make the calls and check the result. I won’t add AI to a task just to say it’s there.
My experience crosses creative direction, custom website production, and customer-facing technology companies.

The conversation stays clear, the examples stay close to your work, and the next step matches how far you want to go.
Ask the basic question. Share the half-finished idea. Bring the messy process. You do not need to prepare an AI strategy first.
Work with the tasks, source material, tools, and standards you already have so the advice makes sense in practice.
Use AI where it helps. Keep human judgment where it matters. Make the final way of working clear enough for people to trust and use.
You may want a basic explanation. You may want to improve how you use AI every day. You may want to build a new process for a team.
All of those are good starting points.
Curious about AI? Already using it? Have a task or team that needs help? Start with a short note.
