Overview
Rebuild the site in Framer so Austin can publish his own changes, and turn each round of his notes into checked, finished work the same day.
01
The situation
Austin speaks to colleges, K-12 schools, companies, and associations, and each of them needs to feel like the site was written for them. The Squarespace version had typos in the hero, program cards showing outcomes copied from other programs, and a menu link to a page that didn’t exist. Small things, the kind a booking committee notices.
He wanted to end up in Framer so he could make changes without waiting on anyone. He also had opinions, and a shared Google Doc where they piled up between calls.
02
What we set up
First, the audit. Every page was read against the program documents in his Drive and against the live site, and the errors were listed for him to confirm rather than quietly fixed. The cards with the wrong outcomes were flagged, not copied over, and 12 client logos were recolored into one matching set.
When he sent a list of things he wanted to see, each one got its own mockup with a before and after, so he could approve them as a set before any got built. His palette became a written standard with every color pairing measured. When a preference failed a contrast check, the numbers went in the notes and the call stayed his.
Then the rounds. Notes went into the doc in the morning, and every change was verified against the live stylesheet rather than a screenshot. Anything Framer couldn’t do was said plainly instead of faked, and on the busiest day there were 4 rounds.
03
Where it landed
8 pages, one testimonial format, and an event planner page with the FAQ and downloads planners actually ask for. It’s live at austinarias.com, and Austin publishes it himself.
He never saw the tooling. He saw that what he asked for in the morning was done, checked, and explained by the afternoon.
Bring the task, the team, or the question. We will find the smallest useful place to begin.
